Using Meg's Fine Cut Cleaner, Show Car Glaze and Hi-Tech Yellow wax (#26)

The pictures were taken at about sunset, still not too shabby...I am going to use some Pinnacle Sovereign and compare the results...

This is how a wheel well should look!

next time try out 3m's Hand Glaze. I have used it and the Meg. and i actually find that the Hand Glaze works better on dark colors (as its forumulated for both light and dark independently).

I have seen that, but not tried it...I need to try some 3M products anyways. We used to use their sealants on our boats and trucks. They work excellent and hold up quite well even in snow, ice and general nasty shit in a Northwest winter.

I am quite anal about the wheel wells. My father and I used to restore and show Ferraris and Porsches and some other random classics. After doing that I have come to realize that well kept wheel wells makes a huge difference. I always hated to see some idiot have a fully restored Mustang or Cuda with filthy wheel wells and engine bay. IMO it's what separates the true detailer from the average "I just want the pain shiny" person. And infact, if you use a high quality protectant from day one it isn't that hard to maintain...

So clean.... that well, its not just the well itself, but even the suspension, and that spot where the engine shows is entirely clean... do you take her out often.. lol your truck looks awesome man :awais:

Yes, dust is pretty easy to clean off. Whe I lived in Washington it was much more difficult to keep them clean but I did it anyways. If you use a strong protectant it will keep even mud out pretty well. You may have to use a degreaser and a pressure washer but you should be able to get the same results even if they are dirty already.

I take it out every new and then but all we have here is sand dunes and ruck trails so it doesn't really get that dirty anyways, mostly just dusty.
