Still getting to know my new 4R. Today I was looking at the interior fuse block and noticed there are several open fuse slots - some always energized, some energized with the key in the acc. or on position and still some others that appear to be not powered at all (at least not discernible with a simple test light and a few key position tries).
So, this all got me thinking... Does anyone have knowledge of how these open slots are wired? I might take apart and try and get a look underneath the panel. But, thought I should check here first.
I'd guess the open slots are used for options not equipped on my particular 4R and terminate somewhere in a hidden unused plug.
I'd like to utilize these open slots to power accessory I plan on adding. I usually just tap into another circuit (or add direct feed from battery with micro-relays). But, utilizing space already (potentially) available in the interior fuse block is intriguing. And, it keeps all my fuses in one location (should something blow).
Any thoughts/info appreciated.
