I will be going memorial weekend. Anyone else planning on going that weekend? It will be my first time going and it would be great to have some people to ride with.

If nothing else comes up I may be back in shape to head out for another uhwarrie run. I spent the last two weekends there so i have some bruises to heal up here and there nothing major.

I'll let you know for sure closer to that weekend

I'm going to be going to HKY next friday.

I've got a buddy that is coming in from TN that I deployed with. I'll be there some time thursday night or friday, and he'll be there friday night.

Saturday, we're going to make a day run to Uhwarrie, if you want to join in.

haha it's coming, I keep telling my wife to save it to her computer so i can load them but It seems i'll just have to take her phone and make it happen
 
Id love to go to Harlan but I doubt ill be able to make it anywhere before memorial weekend. Busy schedule and the 4runner needs a little tlc.
 
I will be there at the Tacoma World meet that weekend. It will be a large group, splitting up into smaller groups based on vehicle/driver capability. We should be at the Outpost around 9 am on Saturday.

Wow didn't know about the meet, I guess that works out pretty good.
I'm sure ill see you there. Your rig looks a little more capable than mine, but I'm sure I won't have a problem finding some people to show me around with that going on.

is that the same trip you PM'd me about, if so looks like I was already planning to be there lol. I thought you mentioned the 18th.

Different trip, the weekend before this. That 18th trip has been cancelled though, a couple guys coulnt make it and I decided to wait for this trip to go wheeling.
 
There is a possibility I may venture that way IF we go to Charlotte to visit my daughter...I am new owner an want to get in 4x4 on some trails. I have a white 98 Limited...SC plates...stock. Have fun....John

Well just post up here if you end up going, We might be able to meet up and you can get that thing on some trails. Ill probably be getting there 9:00-9:30AM. on sat. Ill be in a stock looking green 98'

As it sits now...won't be up this time. But soon! Look forward to it...may get into some STUFF down in Georgia if we head to St. Simons Island. Or could drive over to GULCHES ....west of here 200 miles?!

Well I ended up going by myself. I met some people down there to follow, 2 xterras and a YJ. On the first trail we went on (dickie bell) one xterra broke a tie rod and the Yj broke a shackle mount off the frame. So I ended up on my own again. The 4runner did me good, I did every trail with relative ease aside from the harder side of Daniel witch I stayed off of :thumb:

Trail damage was minor, crumpled gas tank skid, few gouges in the sliders, dent in front skid, and dented left LCA mount.

dident have time to take many pics because of :driving:
but overall had a great time!

Glad you made it through! It sucks you couldn't find a good group, and it was smart to stay off the front of Daniel. I had a great time with the Taco's. Friday night, we went up Dutch John and the back of Daniel. Saturday we ran Dickey Bell and Daniel from the frontside. I had a blast!

Yeah ill defentally be going back. It would have been better with a few people to ride with, that way i could take my time a little more and try some of the harder lines.

Over on the southwest side I believe of Savannah is a place called the Big Nasty ATV Park. It's about an hour from here down Jimmy Deloach Highway. No rock crawling but there are like 20 miles worth of trails and mud and stuff. I haven't been personally but I've seen there website and friends have told me about it
