V6 Gas Mileage...

I second everyone who states the in-car calculator being on the highside. Mine is anywhere from 1.5-2.5 mpgs higher after you manually divide trip/gallons of fuel pumped in.

I've been averaging around 17/20.
 
My calculation seems to be a little bit lower too. I usually calculate around 1 mpg less than the display shows.
 
We need a standard. The only way we measure true mpg. Is trip miles since last fill up divided by # of gallons at fill up.

Not the lieometer.

2009 with just over 110,000 on it. Ive only had it a few weeks now but I am averaging 19.8 mpg with about 70-80% of my miles on the highway and I use the AC constantly here in VA.

If truly calculated, not the lieometer reading. I must be dragging a caliper. Or my exhaust is shot. I am at 16.25 regardless of highway or city

For the 8 months I've been keeping track, I'm right at 19 mpg on my stock 2003 SR5 4WD. Good mix of city and highway driving. Lie-o-meter consistently at 20-22 mpg.


 
Dragging a front caliper. Add me to the club. Passenger front spins like a pin wheel. Driver front you can barely spin w your hand.

127k miles in the last 6 yrs. Currently at 207k. Only seen over 20 mpg a few times. 18-19 mpg winter and 17-18 mpg summer. Half city, half highway. Hand calculated.
 
For the people that are getting 19+ MPG what tires are you running? I have a V8 with 265/70/17 copper at3 and I average about 18 all highway.
