V6 Supercharger...

I know this has been discussed a few times, but I sent an email to TRD and this was the response I got:

"Thank you for your interest in TRD. The supercharger kit for the Toyota 4.0L engine is in development but we do not have an ETA, pricing or specifications at this time. Feel free to check back with us in the near future for updates. "

Just to let you all know - if this was posted already, I apologize!

I think the one TRD is developing may be for the X-Runner. They had a yellow X-Runner at SEMA with it. The benefit of the TRD one is it'll retain the factory warranty when installed by a Toyota dealer.

URD already has one available for the 1GR. Looks like they just added one for the FJ. Probably just slightly different plumbing pieces and a few mounting brackets for the 4Runner.

It also states that this device cannot be installed on any vehicle used for highway use (meaning it won't meet CA emissions standards). I think TRD's unit was supposed to meet those requirements (when/if it becomes available).
