V8 conversion

A Land rover, capable off road but unreliable and expensive to fix.

A fast Land Rover sounds like an oxymoron...

I was thinking more of the Lamborghini LM002.

But this.

Very nice, though I was hoping for some engine bling.

I'd advise not to peel out in the parking lot of the place where one is employed but being the boss has benefits.....

Will go into details and clean this Sunday. Way too busy. It seams every time POTUS speaks, everybody and their brother has to go out and buy some guns...

Singtoe did you find an 00-02 piggy back ECU, or did you figure out how to get the 03-04 piggy back working with the 02 ECU? If its the 1st option, are you using both injectors on the SC?

Looks good. Glad you got it working!

I am using both 9 and 10th injectors on the supercharger.

I used the 03-04 TRD ECU. I could not use the plug and play break out box. I had to splice in 32 wires into my wire harness.

The sucky part is that all the wires for the TRD ECU were black...

This is pure evil.

Here is the TRD adapter that was supposed to be used with the 03-04 tundras.

I cut the TRD plug off and spliced it in directly.

On a side note:

I could not find a new TRD boost gauge or a used one that was not old and faded looking.

I had Speed Hut build me one. It is way better then the TRD one. It is digital and has memory recall. Lets you see the highest and lowest reading recorded.

Singtoe your willingness to cut the factory adapter harnesses is impressive. I couldn't do it.

How did that water neck work?

I should have been a doctor with the cutting I do..

Water neck worked great. Still don't understand its functionality.

The part that was added holds the little half moon thing that supports the nose of the supercharger. Are you not using that part?

Where you able to dig up a wiring diagram for the TRD harness, or did you just trace the wires out?

I did use the snot bracket but it doesnt seam strong enough.

I took the apaptor apart and traced all the leads.

Some of the wires went to the engine side of the ecu and other wires went to the ecm side of the wire harness and then some of the wires went to both sides of the wire harness.

Here is some gratuitous blower porn.

Bypass valve location. On passenger side of engine.

Up close

I had to add a port for my 4x4 VSV system.

Clearance for heater hose.

Good thing I had a 2" body lift. Would have had issues otherwise.

I could not put the IFORCE cover back on the engine. It wouldn't let the hood shut.

I tied in my Digital boost gauge with a pressure sensor mounted directly to the charger.
