2 2UZ-FE New member Nov 1, 2010 #1 I noticed today that the FPR(I believe it's the FPR anyways) is connected to the intake tube and not the manifold like most cars? Just curious of why is this? Because there is little to no vacuum in the intake duct, how does this work?

Rix New member Nov 2, 2010 #2 Atmospheric pressure compensation, not load compensation. Basically for elevation. It's in the air tube so its getting filtered air.
