v8 lights on v6

Just wondering..
i saw some v8's driving around the highway and noticed that they have orange lights next to the fog lights (not sure what they're called) and they're always on! is there a mod to leave them always on, on a v6? IMO it looks better with them on!

that's daytime running lights (DRL's) that come standard on limiteds, not just v8's. do a search....i think there's a mod write up for it.

If I'm not mistaken, I think all it involves is a different relay.

It's called a DRL Relay! Do a search on here for Daytime Running Lamps or "DRL's" and you will find several postings about them. This includes what, where, and how to install the relay. The lighting is already there on the V-6 and other models without the DRL relay. The relay uses the turn signals for daytime running lights. I made this modification myself to my V-6 rig...see below. It's not just Limited models or V-8's. I have an '05 SRS V6 and is came with them. I think they added them to all in '05.
