Are the V8 4runners actually able to take premium?
What are the advantages or disadvantages (if any) to running premium?

i tested it for two weeks. i saw zero benefit MPG/power

Sure they will take it, but premium is all about octane and octane is all about compression ratios. Sort of is what it is, not necessary!
