ok i went off roadin the past to days an my 4wheel drive dont wanna work in the mud but as soon as we got on dry pavement it worked like a charm any ideas thanks

You really need to supply some details. Otherwise it's just a lot of guessing.

My guess, it was working just fine in the mud too. It just seemed like it wasn't because you probably have stock open diffs, which aren't going to get you far in a total no traction situation.

agreed, i know i cant tell the difference in snow except the whine of the 4x4 when i get some speed.
