Vacuum Hose Help

Thanks for the quick reply, however now I am really confused. I have a 99, my silencer looks nothing like yours. I have the line from the breather box connected to the charcoal canister. I have the line from the metal line to the barb on the intake boot, however I do not see anyway to hook anything up to my power steering pump. I currently don't know how to post pics. Maybe later after work I can figure it out.

Well, I have my air intake off because my engine is hanging from a chain. The barb on the air box does go to the charcoal canister. Nothing goes to the power steering pump. The other line from the charcoal canister, believe it or not, goes straight down and vents to the inside of the frame rail. It sounds like you have it right. I am not sure what the issue is.

so, i finally found my "missing" vac line. it was wedged down behind the timing belt cover. now that all the vac lines are taken care of idle has dropped from 3k down to anywhere between 2k and 1k. having already replaced the throttle position sensor, does that only leave the IAC, or should i be looking somewhere else?

MAF, IAC and intake cleaned recently? Since ya' had that vac leak it was sucking unfiltered air like crazy.... :cowboy:

MAF was cleaned in june. visually it still looks good. i just cleaned IAC with carb cleaner while the throttle body was off. i may pull it back apart tonight and try to test the IAC.
