Vais Soundlinq SLX

Has anybody tried the XM adapter from Vais with the NAV system? They said it will emulate the cd changer mode, but I've never heard any mention of it on here. This is the only setup that I've seen that will allow and aux input with an integrated xm kit.

Hey Thorton,
I don't have much info on this product either, but am thinking about getting the Soundlinq for my ipod video and using the accessory line in for a sirius unit...So, any information we can dig up would be good. The only bad thing I have ascertained about this company is that they are slow on production. It will be three weeks before I get my ipod link. I chose to go this route though because you have the option of adding on other devices with the accessory inputs and you also can use all the playlists...

Anyway...Just thought I would reply. How is the moto kit working?

Oh yeah still works great Doc. Yeah I thought about getting that one too...I'd really like to see some of their products in action before I make a decision though.

Took the plunge today after looking at every other product out there. None seems to have the ability to do what the vais soundlinq says (as far as ipod integration). I called, and per their remarks it displays all info for up to a total of 99 playlists. I will confirm this once I get it in. I paid for overnight. I hope it will ship in the next twenty-four to forty eight hours.

I have this for my 05 sienna with nav. I got it through a group buy in the sienna forum for like $240. To use it you HAVE to create playlists in order for it to work properly. You are able to fast foward, rewind, and stuff through the HU and you can also use the steering wheel control too. While the ipod is plugged in it charges it and when you turn off your car it pauses the ipod and the ipod automatically shuts off. You are able to set it up so that you can control the ipod manually and it will play but it will not show song info on the screen and also when you shut off the car you have to manually shut off your ipod.
