My first mod on my 07 Sport 
Some additional info from the following links..

Using a regular phone cable, splice the red and green wires. Green phone wire goes to the red wire of the map assembly light and Red phone wire goes to the ground.
radar will turn off (~5secs) after all doors are closed and locked.
