Its been more than 10 months since I checked the tire pressure on all of my tires (not that the Low Pressure Light is on or anything) As I get to the front passenger side and tried to unscrewed the valve stem cap(not made of plastic, i think aluminum) the cap was binded or sticking to the valve stem. As I tried to free it,I ended up with a broken valve stem. Stealers are Charging $120 for the sensor and another $90 for the install and said that it has to be program with the vehicle. My question is, can the other tire shop install this thing or will I still get that low pressure light on my dash (if i do not go to the stealers)?
