Valvoline MaxLife

Hey all...looking for any input. I'm considering swithcing to this oil at my next change interval which will be 130,000mi. I have a '97 SR5. I've never been a big fan of adding various kinds of "gunk" to my cars whether it's oil additives, tranny conditioners, etc. However, I've been hearing a lot of talk lately about the benefits of these types of "higher-mileage" lubricants and admittedly I'm now very intrigued. My Dad knows a Valvoline rep pretty well and he swears by this stuff (I know, grain of salt) but he's a good friend and is well trusted. Anyone have the low-down on whether it'd be worth a try or not? The cost is not a concern, just whether it would actually be better for my engine in the long run. I'd like to see 250k out of my T4R realistically. Any thoughts?

Not a big fan of Valvoline. I would stick to the regular stuff, like Castrol GTX or Mobil 1.

I actually used this in my old 87 Camry when it hit ~75K miles. I was actually burning a little bit of oil prior to using the maxlife and it seemed to slow or stop burning oil after. I heard that it conditions old seals.
