vandalized last nite at parking lot

sorry i should have taken a few pics but all i knew was to hose off those ugly stuff from the Runna as soon as I got home at 10:30PM.

When I was done shopping in a warehouse club here last nite, I found some white goo splattered all over the driver side of the window and door panel. Thought it was ice cream but realized it's probably wet paper towel. I guess this is an old common prank among naughty teens? I am sure it was performed by those bad kids leaving there parked next to me. I must have gotten their attention when I hit the remote to make sure my truck was locked as they looked suspicious. It was late 9PM and it's in the far end of the dark big parking lot so it was an easy target.

They'd mercy as it could have been worse.

Sorry to hear that happened, but you're right, it could have been much worse. Stuff like this irritates me to no end. Some people have no respect for anybody's stuff. Sooner or later when mommy and daddy cut them off and they're forced to get jobs, they'll realize the value of things, espically automobiles and the price to get them repaired. I'm a big believer in karma, what goes around, comes around...

I hate people like that! I agree with everybody else that they will get what they deserve one day. I am thinking that they had something planned and hitting the button on the remote just startled them a little. They probably would have done that whether you hit the button or not. Whenever I see somebody suspicious around my truck or almost hit my truck with their car/door, I always hit the lock button to make them move away. If they don't listen to that warning, BEEP BEEP BEEP!

Unfortunately, there are a plethora of these ignoramuses all over. I came out two weeks ago to find my next door neigbors Blazer and mailbox decorated in Pink spray paint. He just bought it a few weeks earlier. Thankfully mine was in the garage, or I may have been target #two, especially with the temp tags still on. There isn't much else in the world that pisses me off more than people who don't respect other people or their property.

I had a vandalism episode yesterday with my mom's new car. We ran into the supermarket quickly to get somebody a good luck card and find a piece of gum placed on the front bumper. It looked like somebody was done chewing and disposed of it on the bumper of the car. We literally were in the store for 5 minutes. I was looking all around the parking lot for the person who did it and I would have definitely taught them a lesson! Luckily, there was a carwash nearby and they got it off.

People really like to do stupid things and it irritates me. I know I would never even think of harming somebody elses property. I wish these idiots would find something better to do with their time rather than vandalize cars!

hate to admit it, but there are people who are more like wolves. was talking with a man about to get out of prison for bank robbery yesterday.........so I asked him why he robbed the bank (3rd time he was caught) and got 10 solid years in prison... you know what he said? "inflation". to him the problem is not him or his conduct....

I guess that is why we all have insurance for morons like that.

all the more reason I park in B.F.E and my recent addition of a paging alarm with a perimeter sensor and a range of 1 mile! Anyone breaks my perimeter of 3' around the vehicle and the alarm alerts me. I come out to investigate. In my state if they are simply stealing lug nuts or vandalizing the car it's lawful to use lethal force to prevent damage or theft of any property. The sad thing is one day it may get a teenager who didn't know any better shot dead. I don't think I could shoot a teenager unless he has blatant disregard for crime he's committing or becomes violent.

Sorry about your incident. You were lucky that it wasn't egged or something worse though. I'd park in the middle of no where if I were you.

I agree, even a 4runner isn't worth taking someone's life. Everyone is a product of their environment, it's a shame some people are raised with no regard for anyone's property. The white goo happened to my friend, i hear it's a pain to remove.

Yeah it sucks, just last night my firends S10 got broken into, we were at an away hockey game, got off the bus at our home rink at find out someone drilled out his lock on the driverside door, they ripped out his headunit, and pulled his amp off his back wall, luckly to get the sub out you have to pull his seats out, so they left that, it just sucks that people will do stupid stuff like that for something that isnt worth much.
