I just completed a test-drive of a 2006 Highlander (for my wife). After going over some specs, I noticed that the length of the Highlander is published as 185.4 inches.
The published length for the '97 4runner is 178.7 inches.

Without actually putting my '97 4Runner up next to it, I could swear that the Highlander is a shorter vehicle.

Does anyone know what the ACTUAL length of the '97 4Runner is?

Also, does anyone have the cargo area dimensions on hand (floor Length to back seat / Width / Height ??
