Vehicle shipping companies - looking for recommendation

Does anyone have any experience with a shipping company that you could recommend?

As much as I'd love to take a roadtrip with my T4R, I just don't have the time... I took a look at www.shipmyvehicle.com as a starting place, and would love to have another point of reference for comparison.

I'll be shipping from east coast to CA.

I shipped mine from Denver to Houston in the spring. The website you are referring to is simply a call for broker quotes. A broker takes the contract then sells it to someone else - usually the driver - but sometimes another broker. So know that the amount you pay will prioritize how some of these drivers pick what car they will load. If they have a full load they'd be more inclined to take the higher contract prices to maximize profit. In addition it only follows that the closer you can get to dealing directly with the driver the better your cost will probably be....AND know that going through a broker - they'll use drivers they know but the drivers are independent and 99% of the time not employed directly by that broker. That situation can get ugly if things go wrong.

I personally used Lamb Transport and they mostly work directly for dealerships, and was set up by the dealership I bought from. Although their online ratings were not the best, I had no issues with them whatsoever. My truck arrived on time and when the driver got to my area he called me to set up a drop off location.
