Working on the front coils and decided to take off my front valence. I wan to take this plastic piece off that pops down but it looks like it’s protecting a vent beneath it. Can anyone let me know if I’ll have a problem if I took it off and what that vent is for? If I bought a Shrock bumper it would shield this without the weird bump but I really don’t want to buy one at the moment.
