vent under passenger seat

i have had my 1999 4runner since july, i bought it used. the other day this vent under the passenger seat that i didnt even know about went on and stays on now all the time when the car or battery is turned on. actually there might even be two of these vents, one sucking and one blowing. what are they and how do i turn them back off?

Look below the rear passenger cup holders, there should be a switch for the rear passenger heater.

And the switch needs to be in the middle position ie flat with the housing, not depressed in any way.

yeah thanks for that it worked of course i was hauling a bunch of cargo that day must have turned it on.
