Very expensive oil change!!

Well, it was only a matter of time. After reading the posts here dealing with the V6 vs the V8, I have been wishing I got the V8. I bought a V6 2005 SR5 back in April. I went to the dealer last week for an oil change/ and to look at runners. I saw this baby with all the options I had except it was an 8, and in Salsa Red Pearl to boot! Yeah, I paid for it, but not too bad, and it was worth it. I hope you like the pics. Man, does this thing ride smooth- the V8 is incredible! Thanks to all for the input prior to this purchase. WHAT A FEELING!

That is a beautiful 4Runner. I know it may be a minor detail, but the chrome grill looks great with the salsa red! The V6 is a good engine, but those V8's are fast and quiet. Did the dealer at least give you a refund on the oil change?

I recommend changing the oil yourself, it is cheaper.:jump: :lmao: :driving:

as it turns out- i didn't pay for the oil change (directly that is!) i love the color- cooler than the black. i also had many swirl marks, and surface scratches starting to show up- so i was glad to get rid of black. i did get the simoniz system 5, auto start, and the alarm in tis one. i hope i can keep it longer that two oil changes! it's nice not having to wax it- i am lazy. i went to a touchless car wash tonight for 8 dollars, and the shine on the system 5 is really amazing.

i went there recently... a lot of it is closed, but what you can do is decent.
