vibration at 50-55 on driver side floor

Hello I was just wondering if anyone has experienced a vibration coming from the driver side floor going about 50 to 55mph on there 4th gen.

IMHO this seems like a right front tire problem. Betting it's out of round or in need of balancing.:lightsaber:

Your question is a little ambiguous to provide an accurate answer. The front diff is not high on the list.

It could be a bad tire or low tire pressure, wheel weights, wheel bearing, bad shock, or a brake caliper.

I had a vibration coming from the same place and it was caused when I was trimming to make the 33's fit and the fender had come loose and was flapping against the truck at higher speeds. Don't know if you have done any trimming but that could be an answer.

Read the OP again. It never asked for any of the additional information you all have posted. Not saying that it's not helpful, but it never asked for it. As far as you're retort, which is bound to be something like "well it's implied that extra information would be helpful." ...that's just not necessarily true.

I answered with "nope" because there had been no replies yet, and a reply with an answer to the question is definitely better than no reply at all. Also, because I saw his avatar is a 3rd gen and his sig says nothing, so I thought to myself that maybe he doesn't have a 4th gen, but could be looking at one in which he noticed that there was a vibration and wanted to know if it was normal or not.

V8? V6 in 4wd or 2wd? Is it a buzzing like a gear whine or more like a tire slightly out of balance?

My bad Its a 04 V8 4wd. im going to rotate my tires on wednesday to see if its a tire. It only happens when im goin around 50 to 55mphs. Its like a humming/vibration noise on the drives floor. its really weird. I dont know if the brakes or front suspension would cause anything like that. but not sure

Sometimes there's a minor harmonic when running in 4wd (which you are all of the time). Try rotating then try greasing the driveshaft... If it's the harmonic I am speaking of sometimes fresh grease helps... If it's the balance issue chasing tires is the right thing to do.

when I first got the runner I greased the drive shaft and that was about 3 or 4 weeks ago. Ill try rotating the tires and see what happens. The tires the first owner put on are pretty crappy.
