Vibration in steering wheel/column on acceleration

Took delivery of a Limited and immediately noticed considerable vibration in the steering wheel during acceleration, there is also a surprising amount of engine noise but the vibration is what concerns me. The vibration is synced with the amount of acceleration IE. harder you get on it the more the vibration is felt in the steering wheel and a little bit in the accelerator petal as well.

I took it to the dealer today and he drove it, at first he said it was normal and they were all the same but they did not have another 4runner for me to drive and compare. I left but he called me back this afternoon and said a guy had brought back a Tacoma today for the same issue and they had started a case on both my 4runner and the Tacoma.

The question is how much vibration do you feel in the steering wheel during acceleration, mine is considerable and you can tell it is in direct relationship with the rpm's and load on the engine?

Any help or advice will be appreciated?
