Vibration in V8 2004 at idle complete stop-changes when I turn wheel

Hey,

I have looked everywhere, in this forum and Google, and have had no luck.

Sometimes, not always, when I come to a complete stop, I hear an almost metal on metal vibration, or like a "wwwwaaaaaaa" sound and it seems like the runner gets a little louder. it could either be metal or even like a system not working properly? I know there is a brake system that I hear a lot, it is not that sound, but something different. The sound changes, by either going away or starting up, when I turn my steering wheel back and forth at a complete stop. Idle also changes, which I assume is normal. The idle quiets when I shift into neutral or park, but doesn't change when I shift through the gears. I have heard it when I tap the gas pedal after a complete stop as well, both in reverse and drive.

I HAVE read about lower idle vibration after spark plug change. I did change my own spark plugs and did not reset my idle, didn't know I had to. Idle is at about 500, maybe drops a little lower for a second. I am worried it's my transmission. been that way for a little bit, hope I didn't screw anything up!

Mine does the same thing, but in my case I know it's the A/C compressor engaging and disengaging.

Power steering pump maybe, since it changes when you turn the steering wheel.

I would check it isn't as simple as a worn serpentine belt slipping as well (or the tensioner needing replacing - there was a TSB on that I think for the V8 2004)
