At 50 MPH i get vibrations on my 97 4runner ltd. I took it to toyota dealer, they recommended that i changed all 4 tires. Bought 4 new tires, balance and align, still vibrations. Toyota said it could be the front end, the Diff, the drive shaft, or the tranny. They check all above, still could not find the problem. Does anyone have any idea as to why this truck is vibrating. Thanks

Take it to another dealer to have them re-balance your tires, especially the front ones. Make sure that the Toyota dealer has the Haweka adaptor...see this thread:

Man, sorry I caught your message a little late. Here's what I did when my Tacoma was vibrating at 39K miles.
1. I removed the batteries. NO more vibrating.
2. I also changed from my GY RT/S tires to BFG AT KOs, helped a little bit, BUT vibrations still existed. They balance, rotated, the works. Still vibrating.
3. I replaced the front struts with Rancho RS5000.
PROBLEM SOLVED.
4. Not satisfied with the Ranchos, I replaced with Biltsteins. Awesome! Now I is very happy.

No More Vibrations
I took the 4runner to another Toyota dealer today as Thai Recommended, the vibrations are gone. This Toyota dealer had the Haweka adaptor & the GSP9700, they mentioned that the tires was not balanced properly. Thai I will like to thank you for your assistance.

Woohoo, my misfortune is someone else fortune! Trust me, i went thru the same crap (and probably more so) as you. It was months before i figured out the problem. Surprisingly, not many Toyota dealership have the GSP9700 and Haweka adaptor! Most dealership don't want to spend the extra $$...instead some refer their cars to other dealerships!
