Video from Today

Another great day wheeling. We skipped Penelope's and went straight to the trail. On the way out. We tried to hit Coney Flats/Middle St. Vrain but the trail is already closed for the season. That was a great day but I didn't get my wheeling fix. I wanna hit a trail again soon.

Nice video Glen! I had a good time yesterday and hope to get back up this weekend!
Yeah bud, yesterday was great. I'm really bummed we missed getting your rock crawling with the tire fold on video. It was sick action! Hey, we started a trip planning last night for Moab. It's going to be Friday November 20th, 2009 - Monday the 23rd if you and Morgan feel like ditching lol?

I have 2 finals the morning of the 20th, and then maybe (might have some take home finals) nothing all weekend. But that is possible. I'll talk to her

x2 on that!

I am still fussing with my axle seals and CV axle. Can't wait to get the rig back on the trails.
Well you have two weeks to get 'er fixed and a CB installed. You can do it! Do you, the wife, and the kids want to go?

That'd be sweet. Looks like we'll be leaving at Noon on Friday.

Glen, that part were your satterling that gap would scared the crap of me trying to drive that. I probable would've slid into it.

Fear is good it saves lots of money. Even though it wasn't that bad, that's the most severe angle I've been on since I put the new Toytec Coils and shocks in the rear. It's a lot higher and I'm not confident about where the tip over angle is yet and if it's much different than the 891s I had in there. I actually thought "Hmmm today might be the day I actually flop" A smart man, like you, would have thought. This is sketch I'd better back up. lol

Good video!

Were you guys aired down at all? It doesnt look like it...

To the guy with the BFGs and the steel wheels, you should have your tires balanced with stick on weights only. After you knock a few of those bead weights off, you'll start to get annoyed.

Yep, we were aired down. It varied from 12 psi - 25 psi depending on the rig.

Ahh....gotcha.

Thanks for sharing the video!

You're welcome. I like it when other people post vids and pics so I try and do the same. I wish there was a way to bridge the distance gap. There's a lot of good people on here that I'd like to meet in person. Maybe someone will win the lotto and we can set up a transporting company. We'd be able to fly out to a new area and have your rig sitting there waiting for ya :)

Yeah....just like you guys, we've got a LOT of great wheeling spots in our state that I'm sure you guys would love to hit up! Ive seen quite a few of the spots in CO, but never been....

I don't know about that. I probable could've been talked into it.:biggrin2:

I agree about the tip over angle. I've only had my 4runner lifted for a few months and I don't know if I want to find that angle. I've come close though.

I am soooo jealous. I will be in Albany, NY that weekend. Besides, I busted a CV joint today and won't be able to fix it until I get back.

I AM going to Moab this spring, come Hell or high water!:hungry:
