video input on 2003 nav

i know this subject has been covers before but it seems a bit confusing. What is the cheapest way to send video in to the nav unit. I have heard of $300 kits that would do it but that seems expensive. is there a do it yourself way or a cheaper kit that any one knows of? any help would be great

Not unless you know the pin-outs, resistances, voltages, and such of the wires, and what actions they correspond with, i dont think there would be any D.I.Y. way of it.

is there ANY kit for a 2003 nav. I looked at that coastal kit and it says 2004 and up. What kits will work? and how much would it cost?
