Video of starting/battery problem????

So here goes my issue and I hope its not a big one. If anybody can help me, that would be awesome. Before this issue happened just yesterday, I was having some issues with starting my 4runner from a cold start. After seeing many people stating that the contacts on the starter go out and you get a "click" when trying to start, I was sure this was the problem. So I was planning on replacing the starter contacts like many have done here very soon. On to yesterday, the wife went to start the 4runner and when it turned over it was making a funny noise. Told her to turn off engine and pull key out and she did and the video shows what then happened. So I removed the negative cable to shut it all off. I then went to reinstall the negative cable, and that leaves the issue what you see in the video. If anybody can lead me in the right direction I would really appreciate it. I'm assuming its a starter issue but not sure. its a 97 2wd 4runner. thanks

I actually had the same issue a few years ago and I believe my mechanic replaced the starter.

my mechanic fixed the problem. it was the starter so he got the rebuild kit from toyota and replaced contacts and something else inside and also cleaned the whole thing out cause there was some rust inside causing starter to not move correctly. Now its fixed and still using the original starter. Now its starts much better than it did before
