85 4runner Wheeling at Hollister Hills near Gilroy in California

Hey Dudes,

I finally took my 85 out for a little wheeling. It was cool to see what it could do and it was a bit of learning curve since I've never wheeled with a rig that has dual cases. Hope you enjoy the video!

done video showing people who to change spark plugs. and this seems the right place to share it.

this is just one of my 15 initial posts to get in order to actually ask for help.
im hoping moderators accept this as not spam. i have multiple how to videos publicly available which seems pertinent enough as "not spam" in order to get
the permission to raise a thread with my REAL problem.

removing both front and read seats

this is usefull if you need that extra space to transport something

one thing to note is that sometime in the future i may redo some of these videos as i got a better quality camera now (feel free to check my Lotus elan videos that is my big project after all )

fixing the tailgate not opening

i believe this is a common issue with the 2nd gen

this is what worked for me.

now this is a interesting one

back when this exaust was fixed. a replacement wouljd have cost me more than £300 quid.

2 years later a different area of the exhaust broke in and was leaking.

luckily for me. there was new stock in place. and i replaced the exaust with a brand new one for £90

certainly worth the effort considering the savings and 2 more years of driving

What specific tips or techniques would you recommend for someone attempting to perform an oil change themselves, especially for those who may not have much mechanical experience?
