Views from a 3rd Gen...

I thought this one was humorous. It's winter a few years ago and it's on the road to my house. I'm heading into town. I knew the sides of the road would be littered with cars. (There should be a law that all brakes must be removed for winter...anyway) It's only fitting that an FJ drives by me. Sweeet.

The first pic gives you an idea of how steep the road is. 4L and 3rd...

Most of my pictures now are from inside the vehicle (as getting out has its own consequences...)

If it weren't for my husband there'd be no record of a bunch of the views we've seen.
My daily driver, no matter where that driving happens to take place...

Would have been a little chilly that day. Was in the low 20's.

Yeah, I try to avoid the potential for black ice, these days. When I was a teen, I'd ride in snowstorms.

That road is part of a loop I ride sometimes in warmer weather.

Parley's
Wolf Creek
Duchesne
Indian Canyon
Emma Park Road
Scofield
Fairview Canyon
North to US6 To I-15
and back north.

I've never gone that way through Scofield. I'll have to check it out sometime. I usually just head home when I hit US-6 from Emma Park Road. My normal route is Provo Canyon, Duchesne, Indian Canyon, Emma Park Road, US-6 to I-15. I like that drive when I just need to get away for a few hours. Get a big Mt. Dew, download a podcast or two, and just drive enjoying the scenery.
