stretched the ol' 4HI legs on some service roads to take in some scenery at lunch today.
Drove my truck from California,to Minnesota, to Skagway Alaska to work up here this summer. I live next to Skagway in Dyea, which is where the Klondike Gold Rush kicked off. Here's some recent shots from various windows and a couple miscellaneous shots for fun.

Some of the beastly machines I drove up and down a mountain rainforest this summer. It's going to be hard to get my fix when I leave in a few days.
Post ball joint surgery. The LBJ actually sheared like that.

I could fill up this thread with so many beautiful photos just from the past few days with our snowfall. I'll just put up 2 or 3.
On my way home today right off our road I finally saw the herd of Elk that has been coming here for years. It was good to see them especially after some elk in the herd up near Ellensburg were slaughtered and left to die. And then losing the entire herd that fell through the ice on Brownlee Reservoir over in Eastern Oregon right after Christmas. Enjoy the view. It's just a Cell phone pic. Didn't have the good camera with me.
Hoping to keep this thread going. I just want to re-emphasize the intent of [MENTION=81047]farmerjon[/MENTION] in this particular thread was to include a portion of your 4Runner in the photos, otherwise it's just a picture gallery.
Beautiful Herd of Elk. Pretty much my back yard. Just down the road. This is only about a few yards from where my wife hit a deer with her Camry.
This is my private drive to my house. Very secluded but the views from all directions are pretty spectacular.

I love me a lot of Alaska....just sucks being married and she hates it worse than Obama!!
