1 J Country of Origin (japan)
2 T Manufacturer (Toyota)
3 4 Vehicle Category (truck)
4 V Engine Type (3.0L v6 3vz-e)
5 N Model/Platform (pickup - Tacoma/incomplete vehicle)
6 1 Series (4wd truck xtra cab)
7 3 Model Grade (comes back as multiple descriptions - SBXC, Compact XC, XCSB, XCLB, 4wd SB)
8 G Body/Chassis Configuration (SR5 v6 turbo)
9 0 Check digit
10 P Model year (1993)

It is a white 1993 Toyota Pick-Up with 4WD and a 3VZ-FE engine, 5spd Manual Transmission, Sport Package, and had wheel locks originally.

You guys rock. Also like a car fax report thing if someone has one. The pickup has 268k miles on it and has some issues but the engine is fantastic and runs like a top. Driveshaft needs repair ASAP and a new clutch but he wants only 600 for it... Also the power steering belt broke off and the "cog" is loose

Google your VIN. Many options to lookup you VIN for free. I even found a Youtube video on mine shot by the dealer.
