I bought this kit to install in my 4R, but after getting the kit and opening the required panels I discovered I already had one installed. Imagine my surprise:boink:.

Anyway, I'm now selling it. The kit is complete and except for the cable and instructions, everything else is still untouched. If your interested am asking $180 but a reasonable offer won't be turned away.

Interested but please explain

I have a '04 SR5 V8. It has keyless entry with a panic button but the anti-theft system is listed as an option. I'm assuming the VIP is the anti-theft system. So, what does it give you over the keyless entry and engine immobilizer?

If you have the immobilizer and the alarm, then this adds a glass breakage sensor, microphone, and I think some additional programming options.

If you do not have the original alarm and only the keyless entry, this will add all of the above plus the immobilizer (starter kill).

VIP

I see the instructions and cables in the picture, are those the missing parts your refing to.

I said except for the cables and the instructions, everything is untouched.

I have all of the parts and even the two stickers that go on the driver's and passenger's windows.

I don't understand what it is that I am typing that keeps leading to comments about instruction manuals and cables missing...

Let me say this one more time...I have everything.

Nothing is missing. I have the cable, the modules, brackets, foam tape, zip ties, stickers, instruction manuals, installation manuals...everything.

So, as I stated at the start of this thread, the entire COMPLETE package is available for sale.

I think it's this line that was a bit confusing.

The kit is complete and except for the cable and instructions, everything else is still untouched.

To be clear, I think you mean to say: "The kit is complete and like new. I only touched the cable and instructions before I realized I already had an alarm installed."

The VIP is an anti-theft system but not the anti-theft system that can be included from the factory. Function wise, they are nearly identical. In any case, this system adds (over the keyless entry and immobilizer) an audible alarm, flashing lights, glass breakage sensor, and starter kill. The OEM system omits the starter kill and glass sensor but adds an extra horn and alarm trigger to the hood.

Ok, now I see what caused the confusion. I forgot a ",".

Here is the new line:

"The kit is complete and (except for the cable and instructions) everything else is still untouched."

So, in case folks are still a bit confused, what I'm saying is everything is still wrapped in its own plastic...hence the phrase "untouched."

I hope I've cleared it up.

I feel a bit awkward at the moment.

Two individuals (you know who you are) PM'd me with the same offer at almost the same time. To be fair, I'd like to offer both of you an opportunity to stay or up your offer. The highest offer get's it.

By the way, I've PM's both individuals.
