My wife bought me this for my bday and had Best Buy install it. Everything works really well other then the horn honking when the car is locked and unlocked.
I personally liked the Toyota "beep" but I can live with the horn on locking the car. I can't live with the horn honking when the vehicle is being unlocked. I know it sounds trivial but I leave the house really early a lot of days and don't feel like waking the wife/baby up.
Does anyone know how to.....
a)keep the "beep" with the remote start
b) diable the honk permanently when hitting the unlock button. (i know there is a function silent mode that works for one click)
