visiting dealer today...any advice...

I'll be seeing my dealer today to do the following:

1. Replace headlight (it was scratched when I picked it up)
2. Fix vibration at highway speeds
3. Solve car leaning towards the driver side
4. Alignment (steering wheel is not center), car pulling to the left.
5. Oil change to synthetic mobile 1.

Any advice on any of those issues or how should I approach them regarding problems # 2, 3 and 4? I own a 04 V6 SR5 Sport with 3000 km on it (3 weeks old).

I don't think you will get anywhere on #3.

Same for #2 but someday they may address this problem. I have heard that this sometimes goes away after about 10k miles.

As for #4, did the truck do this when you bought it or has it developed over the short 3 weeks/3000km? If it wasn't for the steering wheel being off center I would say check tire pressure. It's odd that so new a truck would need alignment. I've had trucks well over 100k miles and never had alignments. Should be easy enough to duplicate and notice the wheel though so I don't think they will have a problem fixing it.
 
It was like that sicne the beginning. The steering wheel was not center. I dont think it's the tire pressure.
Those vibrations at highway speeds are rather annoying. they starts at about 70 km/h , and then it goes away at 100 and over. I can really feel it in the wheel at those speeds.

1. if they told ya they'll do it cool :)
2. check driveshaft wobble, check brake rotors and pads, check tire pressure.
3. most all vehicles lean to driver side (battery, gas etc etc driver... it's expected)
4. once again, check tire pressure. if not have them do an alignment. you're entitled to get 1 free alignment within 12months/12000 miles.
5. good choice in oil... i'm not a synthetic person but none the less mobile 1 is good.

This has been covered so much in other topics. There's at least 1 sticky topic in a forum covering it. After 4500miles, my 4runner seems to have stopped doing it. I also noticed that accelerating slowler kept it from happening as much.
 
I spend two and a half hours at the dealer yesterday. They fixed everthing except the leaning problem. It was leaning to the driver side 1/4" with 1/4 of fuel in the tank. Other than that, no problems. They fixed the allignment, which solved the steering wheel being off centre, steering wheel vibration at highway speeds and the truck pulling to the driver side. I also changed my oil to mobile 1, for which they charged me a lot of money. I have 4 or 5 free oli changes (extended warranty) and the differance came out to be 53$CAN. I'll be supllying my own oil next time.
