Volume control on bluetooth Phone mode-SR5?

Is there a way to control the volume when using the phone Bluetooth feature? It comes out pretty loud and it seems to only come from the front driver's side speaker. I tried the volume knob but no luck.

Mine only comes from the driver side front as well. Mine would never allow me to change the volume, but when I updated my iphone to the newest 4.0 firmware, it then allowed me to change the volume level, I have no idea why this is though.

use the volume control on the steering wheel. mine worked with iOS 3 and 4.

front drivers side speaker is normal.

Yes, it comes out the drivers side only. Use the volume control on the WHEEL and it works perfect (up/down)!

The volume control does not work in the "menu" mode; I'm only able to control the volume (using the steering wheel volume control) only during a phone conversation.
