I have a'06 ltd V8, about 25k miles on it. this weekend we had some snow here in NY, not a lot, but Sunday morning there was maybe an inch on the roads which were unplowed. with no other cars in sight i wanted to have a little fun and get sideways etc. normally the VSC makes this attempt at getting loose difficult, but i like to see how well the system works anyways, just for kicks. I was going slow, and unfortunately i don't recall how fast, and while making a left turn i invoked some spin, fully expecting the VSC to kick in and help straighten me out...but, it never happened and i ended up doing a 180, luckily for me the truck spun completely before hitting the curb, but i was bothered nonetheless...a little later the system began working, so i know its there, but, i'm wondering if there might be a glitch, or if there are certain conditions in which the VSC wont kick in at all...
