VSC OFF and still beeps

It's a 2003 V8. Presently has a Check Engine bank 2 low efficiency that keeps coming on that I keep deleting, or it resets itself and goes away. Which by the way is in the shop right now getting both exhaust manifolds replaced. So hopefully this will be resolved for good now.

CE obviously causes the Trac off and Vsc off lights to come on the dash too. With this condition, I have never heard any trac braking noises or VSC beeping when tires were spining or I was sliding on snow.

Until 2 nights ago. I turned out of a parking lot onto the street, the rear end got a little loose and it started to beep beep beep. Only time this happened. I had just spun around the parking lot without any beeping. I can't say if it corrected or just beeped, it happened too quick. I pulled into another parking lot, and 180ed in and out of that and no beep... weird.

So was I wrong to think that VSC was actually disabled in that condition?

Maybe it isn't actually active, but knows that I was on the street and was just warning me to stop being an idiot on the street and drive like a normal person.

Reminds me of top gear episode, where jeremy is driving a audi TT with a double transmission or something, and was always ready with the next gear up or down and knows if you are going up shift or downshift... "but how does it know, how does it do that...it must be witchcraft" lol.
