VSC off lights...

weird...The VSC off and check engine light came on the other day like ive seen in other threads. I was going to take my truck to auto zone to get the codes to find out if it was a bad o2 sensor but they were suddenly off this morning. The only thing i did differently was to use the option to lock out my diff. for better traction driving home last night during a snow storm.

Now ive noticed my brakes sqeaking a bit lately, would these light come on because of this or for something possibly wrong in the drive train? Just curious because I did hear a slight humming noise driving last night on the highway like listening to the hum of some knobby tires on the road. Or is that normal noise when locking out the diff?

i just dealt with something similar last week, VSC trac, check engine light and 2 others were on. ended up being a bad gas cap. did you fill up your tank between the lights being on and them clearing?

I did. 24 hours before the lights went off I filled up my tank. Maybe thats all it was? Hope so.

Unrelated to this thread....can someone recommend where I can get a replacement center cap inexpensive?
