vsc/trac & abs lights on after daystar install?!?

help guys I tried searching & still cant figure this out installed 1 inch daystar leveling kit & replaced front & rear shocks put it all back together & rides great but all of these lights are on?? Do I just need to reset battery or did I mess up something?? thanks in advance!

Possible you hit a wire during the install which caused the lights. I did a quick search, and here area couple useful threads:

Thanks! I will check this out! just got 4r alligned &drives perfect , But all light still on even after battery reset....?? Do I need to go threw a drive cycle maybe?

more than likley you have a broke abs wire. these can be fixed or replaced, it's probably in the fron these wires are simple to remove and inspect. If one is broke you will have to repair(with solder and heat shrink) or replace it then proceed with a zero point calibration.

Thanks guys!, Ok the gas cap is on tightly so its not that, How do I tell if an abs wire has been damaged I followed both in the front they look ok & are plugged in, How much is a new wire? If I replace a broken abs wire do i need to take it to dealer to havethem do a zero cab ?? Thanks....

you will have to take them off and look for stress marks in the insulation around the wires. you will be able to feel where it broke. And no you do not have to have a dealer do the zero point calibration. You can use a few pieces of wire and do it yourself. there is a thread on here on the steps to do it

I had the same problem after my daystar lift install. The wire itself was not broken but one of the wires was broken loose from the sensor itself, so you may not be able to feel the break in the wire but like they said. If you can not feel the break you need to take the wires and pull that sensor apart to check it out closer. I soldered the wire back to the sensor, hooked it all back up and all three lights went off after driving it for about a mile. The cheapest sensor I could find on the internet was 159.99 from Toyotapartsbarn.com, so hopefully you do not have to go that route. Best of luck, hope this helps.

oh man, that is crazy!, I broke down & took it to the dealership & they have had it a day & still cant figure it out.... So I hope it is not something funky like that, I did look at all the wires & non appeared broken so maybe it could be that??! this sucks!

well if they have a tech with any experiance and an abs reader he could tell you in a few minutes, but i would be 99% sure its in the front abs wiring or sensor

It was the front drivers abs wire was damaged some how looked fine , But I guess we stretched it & it broke apart inside, it took the dealer two days to figure it out?! But I am back to normal now , Just in time for some rain!

How's the ride? Any pics? I'm thinking of getting the same lift installed and slight larger tires (265/70/R17).
