VSC, TRAC and check engine light, New fix!

So I have a 03' sport 4 runner with the V6

This problem plagued me for two years before it was solved. It has been fixed for over a year now!

So like many, I did lots and lots of research and got very frustrated many times. When my lights would come on I would try to reset the computer ASAP via disconnecting the battery and reconnecting so that I would gain back my trac/stability control, however the lights would come back on randomly between 200 miles and 3000 miles.

I finally solved my issue and figured out how it happend! So I brought the runner to the dealer for the rotten egg smell about 3+ years ago. Months later I believe the problem started so I did not relate it to the problem. During some random maintenance a couple years and one accident (while no vsc/trac) later I noticed both bolts slightly loose on the driver side exhaust between the two cats. So I tried tightening them and one was stripped and the other tightened all the way. I reset the battery and never had a problem again for a year so far!

I haven't seen anyone post this fix, so I thought I would contribute...

What code.

I'm not sure how to respond to that, it looks like a statement? But I think you're asking what code was I getting when this was happening, I think p0171? I think it was system running lean bank 2...

Sorry forgot the question mark.
Was wondering if it was a sensor code or something else.
An exhaust leak makes sense with a lean code.
