For the past couple of months these lights have been coming on periodically on our 2005 2WD SR5 V-8 4Runner. I've been clearing the codes by disconnecting the battery and finally installed a new gas cap per other threads about this on the forum. The lights are still coming on only more frequently now. I hooked up my code reader yesterday and got a P1445 code, and then cleared it w/ the reader. Any suggestions as to what the issue could be?
I did a search and found only two hits on this forum for this code but they were relative to Sequoia's and Tundra's, but I guess could apply to 4Runner's too. These posts had to do w/ air induction pumps and were pretty damn scary.
