While I had the intake plenum off to replace the fuel injectors, I searched for the VVT filter by the VVT valves and had no luck. After a google search it looks like its located not in the valley but on the front sides of the block. The Left side is blocked by the alternator. Is that something thats worth messing with to clean? Doesnt look like Toyota thinks that is a serviceable item.
