WabFab disconnects... are they worth the $$$?

So I can't be the only one who wants to know why you are against his business. Did he rip you off somehow? Please elaborate with actual details.

what is this sway bar thing you guys are speaking of? i thought my truck is suppose to doing some 3 wheeling on the daily.

Someone else said this same thing on a previous page. I'm a bit confused by it. Are you saying you only need to run one per axle at all times or one per axle while wheeling?
It seems like disconnecting one per axle would achieve the desired effect on a trail, but wouldn't provide the intended safety on pavement. Please clarify for a dummy.
 
Remove your swaybar,go out to the highway with light traffic,speed up to 60mph and wiggle your wheel back and forth and see how much your truck "sways" without one. Now imagine doing it when you get a surprise in front of you.
It's dumb and dangerous and I wouldn't risk my life or my families for a little more flex for the short time you are on a trail. I just disconnect one side anyway.

I have, I do every single day, Ive removed my front away bars over 5 years ago and never looked back.
I do have the toytec ultimate kit, which does seem to handle so much better than the stock stuff.
I just learned how to drive it, I learned to be aware of my suroundings,, saying its dumb, to remove them is dumb, people are driving cars on the highway that are in for worse shape than our rigs, or its just as dumb, to drive on I-25 or I-70 on the Denver metro area with all the Illegals, the drunck Illegals, the uninsured Illegals, you know they are here, you know they hit cause an accident and run, yet you do it (drive in Denver) everyday, you are riskinbg your families life, just driving.

I have removed mine over 5 years ago, I drive DAILY, I drive in the mountains, I drive on the highways, city streets, etc etc and Im fine, if you are that scared to drive without the sway bars dont do it, but dont call the people that do dumb

Id also like to ask Ron, how old is your suspension ? an old suspension will not handle as good as new.... that could be your problem, and why yours was swaying so bad.

I like mine, the ride off road is much better. I'm sure the truck is a little more capable off road w/o the endlinks connected but the main advatage is the ride. Front suspension works much better. Of couse they are also adjustable so you can use them on lifed trucks or adjust for more or less swaybar pressure. Easy enought ot put on and off. Turn the steering wheel for good access, have the right ratchet for the top nut, Cut them to length so you don't have too many extra threads to work with.

They do get rusty after a year but it's metal, the rust is just surface and not a problem. Mine did take a while to arrive but the product was good. Set your expaectaions for a two-three week delivery. Wab Fab is not Amazon, lol

Overall I'm pleased with mine and would buy again.

I bought mine after I broke an OEM endlink that was very rusty.

I suggest sending an email to confirm they are in stock and ready to be shipped before buying.
 
I bought them almost a year ago. I did not read up on how they disconnected so I was kinda pissed that I had to use a wrench. But getting them off only takes about 5 minutes. The first time I took them off at Uwharrie I left them off for about 6 months driving too and from work and got a bad case of buyers remorse. Because I paid for them I just use them, but I feel the ride on and off road is pretty great without the swaybar.
 
I have a set of the original Nuke Discos...used them for a few years and went back to the stock links on a friend's recommendation after moving to 35s. I think it depends on the suspension set-up if you can run without the swaybar. Personally I like the ride better with the swaybar with my suspension.
 
okay let me tell you this about yotatech, they were the most popular forum back in the day members love the forum, but one day the owner got a offer on the site, he anounced that he will NEVER sell the site, and people loved him for it, as you know yotatech always accept donations from loyal members, but weeks later the site was sold for a 6 digit figure, owner himself pocketed im guess 200gs, but no one knew, and he still accpeted donations, now hes no where to be found, probably somewhere in mexico ****ing underage hookers and doing blow.
 
My opinion, on a wheeling rig the swaybars go in the trash can. I daily drive mine without them, it's fine.

Not just your post, but several of them sure did. Your whole little tinkle match with the wabbit is gone. Now t4r4life's post sounds like the most misplaced, random, rambling of the town drunk I've seen in awhile. That was fun to watch from afar while it lasted.
