Wade vent visors, Are these installed properly?

Was on the truck when I got it but I never thought this was installed properly?

In channel visor.. So it sits inside the window channel instead of taped outside.

Yes which does not seem right to me but yes in channel.

It looks like they installed them a little too far into the channel. I have the same ones, and they don't set into the seal that much. You can probably remove them, install some more double sided tape and reinstall.

Yea they definitely shouldn't be tucked in there, should just run down the front and the part that's tucked in just hangs out

How's the fit on the top of the window? Is there a gap at the door sill?

No gap but now I see how it's supposed to fit which mine is way wrong it seems

Hi all. I wanted to warn everyone that Wade in channel window deflectors are garbage. One cracked when I rolled up the window. The other was warped on arrival. I modified the adhesive strip to try and improve the fit. The windows never went up. I Put a line on the window to check the gap and it was at least 3/16". Lots of high way noise. I have returned them and am ordering the AVS tape on window deflectors.
