If I had the money I'd love to buy a 2022. Unfortunately I will have to wait, but I got a 1999 that will keep me happy for now. I'm kinda bummed that I may miss out on the 5th gen entirely, and only be part of the future 6th gen community.

I'm worried Toyota will switch to an inline 4 turbo motor and get rid of the tired and true 4.0. Are any of you worried about the possible switch to an inline 4? Seeing that the Tundra got the TTV6, I'm kinda doubting the 4runner will get the same treatment. Hopefully I'm wrong.
