<b>peter</b>: Yes, they do have washer fluid for winter, it's mixed with anti-freeze I believe. I don't use the stuff, I just let my summer fluid freeze. The only time your windshield gets dirty is when it's warm out, so I don't see the point in it myself.
<b>toybox</b>: I consider myself lucky to live here. It's all worthwhile when summer rolls around. Ever looked at a Yukon map? Whitehorse has a population of about 22,000 people or so. The rest of the towns divide the remaining 8000 people or so out of the 30,000 people in the entire Yukon. It's nothing but untouched wilderness up here. The cold isn't as bad as you might think it is. I work outside a fair bit, and today I just wore a ballcap, a t-shirt, 2 sweaters, and a pair of jeans. It's a totally different type of cold, because the air is usually very dry. It kind of bites and numbs exposed skin instead of chilling you right to the bone. Heating bills aren't all that bad, as they build houses to be economical in the cold with tiny windows and insulation up the wazoo. I have hot water running through the floorboards, so it's nice and cheap that way.
<b>mp5bravo</b>: I have been up and down regarding the command-starters... I'm still young, so I don't mind waking up, tossing on some clothes and going outside to start the truck. I just can't justify the price tag ($800CND approx.) for a luxury item like that. I do admit, it would be nice at times, but I have better things to spend my money on at the moment.
