Walmart Supertech ATF in power steering

I went to Walmart today looking for Dex 2 or 3 to do a power steering flush. Is this ok? Says "suitable for use in vehicles requiring Dex 2 or 3 and Mercon fluids" among other things. Seems like more of a universal type fluid. Just want to make sure it is safe to use in my power steering.

Yes, it is fine. I use Supertech quite a bit, just repackaged Shell company oils from what I have been able to find. It depends on your area if you get Shell,Quaker State or Penzoil. Its all owned by Shell anyway. Warren Distribution buys the oils in bulk from Shell and then packages them as Supertech and a few other brands.

As long as it meets Dexron II or III spec it should be fine. In the power steering fluid it's mainly used primarily as a hydraulic fluid so a lot of the additive packages and such aren't as important.
