Wannabe 4Runner Owner

New to the forum and just trying to find out how much owners spent on a new 06 4Runner Sport 2WD V6? A buddy got one with the JBL for about $28600+TTL. Just wondering if anyone got a better deal than that. Thanks for any help.

Another option for you to look up what some people are paying is by going to: http://www.edmunds.com/new/index.html

You can usually beat the price above, but it should give you some idea.

Follow Thai's suggestion and find out what Edmunds/KBB say is invoice price for the truck. You should be able to buy it for just a few hundred dollars over that invoice price *before* any applicable rebates/incentives in your area, which are big right now. The cash back offer in the Chicago area just went up to $2000. The cash back would be icing on the cake, putting the final cost well below invoice price.

Out the door may not be an accurate way to reflect prices paid, since there are different tax rates between states and possibly license and registration.

A buddy of mine was quoted for a 4WD SR5 V6 for $26k OTD in CA. He didn't go into details on options, but my guess it's the cheapest typical configuration, 17" wheels, spoiler, tow hitch, side/curtain airbags and roof rack.

This thread has prices of what members paid for their 4th 4Rs. You might want to go to the end and get a feel of what owners paid for their '06s.
