Want a 4Runner

I just sold my F150 FX4 and am looking to get into a 4Runner.

I have no idea about the generations or what to avoid so I'm looking for some advice. I need a reliable truck, would like a V8, 4WD. wont be a daily driver as I ride a motorcycle. Would like to keep it around $15k.

Is there anything I should avoid? Any years that were lemons? any options I should steer away from?

I've seen plenty of trucks with 200k, 300k miles. how many is too many for a 4runner?
